Please send your email to register your concern about adding more traffic to our area. I will be attending the MPO meeting  on the 13th. All are welcome, if you can attend, please  do so. I know Century Village will be there in force. I feel there are many other needs in the county that would be welcome by residents.  We need your help to nip this in the bud.

Discussion of Sawgrass Expressway Expansion through 10th Street

 Some of you may have read in the Sun-Sentinel that the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization will be discussing expanding the Sawgrass Expressway through 10th Street at their next meeting on March 13th in the Trade Centre South building, 100 W. Cypress Creek Road, Suite 850, Fort Lauderdale at 9:30 a.m. This is being brought forward by the Vice Mayor of Coral Springs, Larry Vignola.

Obviously, this will have a tremendous effect on our city. Many of you have shared with me your concerns regarding this type of expansion. I too am very concerned with the impact this will have on our quality of life. I recommend to those of you who wish to express your feelings on the matter to contact Coral Springs Vice Mayor Vignola at lvignola at coralsprings.org<mailto:lvignola at coralsprings.org>.

While I encourage you to be passionate in expressing your concerns and while I recognize that many of you share my passion for this issue, I implore you to be respectful and courteous to Vice Mayor Vignola.
