You are invited to the Deerfield Beach Woman's Club meeting on Wednesday,
the 18th at 7:00pm.  

Ms. Merrily Baker will be the guest speaker.   

In 1992 Ms. Baker became the first woman to be named athletics director at a
Big Ten university, Michigan State. She was inducted into the National
Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006.  She
implemented and administered a national program to enhance professional
opportunities for women and ethnic minorities in the field of
intercollegiate athletics.  

She has had a remarkable career in the field of athletics and her
accomplishments are too numerous to mention in this e-mail.  Merrily
recently moved to Deer Creek and she is looking forward to speaking at our
meeting and getting involved in the Deerfield Beach Community.

The meeting will be held at the Woman's Clubhouse - 910 E. Hillsboro Blvd -
next to the Fire Station on Federal Hwy.
