From dkbogner at comcast.net Sat Sep 29 11:26:54 2018 From: dkbogner at comcast.net (Denise Bogner) Date: Sat, 29 Sep 2018 11:26:54 -0400 Subject: [Email] openings for Deerfield Beach Students at Art & Music Program Message-ID: <009801d45808$daa64760$8ff2d620$@comcast.net> There are openings for Deerfield Beach students for the fabulous program which is being sponsored by the GFWC Woman's Club of Deerfield Beach YOUNG ART & MUSIC PROGRAM at HISTORIC BUTLER HOUSE Art student A new series of free art and music appreciation classes will begin each Thursday in October for middle school students, to be held under the 100-year-old banyan tree in the backyard of Historic Butler House, 380 East Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach. The classes will take place from 5-7pm. Art studentsArt instructors, Gabriela Gamperi and Debbie Rollo, will present four, two-hour sessions with a famous artist being introduced to the students at each class, along with a famous composer of the same time period. After a discussion the children will have an initial art session and then a second art session to create a piece of art in the style of the artist, all while listening to the music of the selected composer.
