Commissioner Drosky Hosts Recycling Info Sessions

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – In September, the City of Deerfield Beach kicked off DFB Recycling Version 2.0. The new program focuses on bringing recycling back to its basics and keeping it clean through the reduction of excess contamination.

To continue promoting proper recycling practices, Commissioner Todd Drosky and City staff will be hosting two information sessions on March 9, 2019, in the Waterford Homes and Deer Run neighborhoods. Residents are encouraged to come out and learn about DFB Recycle Version 2.0. Staff will be available for a question and answer session with representatives from Sustainable Management and Waste Management.

The first session will take place in the Deer Run community at Ada Graham Johnson Park, 155 SW 34 Avenue, from10 AM to 11 AM. The second session will take place in the Waterford Homes community at Crystal Heights North, 2601 SW 10th Drive, from 12 PM to 1 PM.
