Federal Highway at SE 10 Street Detours

 



DEERFIELD BEACH, FL - YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that beginning Friday,
November 13, the contractor for the Florida Department of Transportation
Federal Highway Mobility Improvement Project will be working on roadway
reconstruction activities on Federal Highway at SE 10 Street. Access to SE
10 Street, west of Federal Highway will be closed for approximately 48
hours. Federal Highway will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic
at all times. 

 

During this temporary closure, traffic will be detoured as follows:

 

.  Northbound traffic from SE 10 Street will be redirected at SE 6 Avenue to
access Federal Highway at SE 7 Street 

 

.  Southbound traffic from SE 10 Street will be redirected at SE 2 Avenue to
access Federal Highway at NE 54 Street 

 

.    Eastbound traffic from Federal Highway will be redirected at SE 7
Street to access SE 10 Street via SE 6 Avenue 

 

.    Westbound traffic seeking to cross Federal Highway at SE 10 Street will
be redirected to use SE 6 Avenue to cross Federal Highway at SE 7 Street and
access SE 10 the Street using the SE 12 Avenue corridor 

 

The purpose of this project is to address mobility improvements by widening
the roadway to accommodate bike lanes and reconstructing medians, portions
of the roadway and sidewalks along SR 5/Federal Highway from SR 834/Sample
Road to the Broward/Palm Beach County Line in the cities of Lighthouse
Point, Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach.
