[Email] Term Limits for Mayor and Commissioners

Dear Waterford Residents,

A number of our neighbors attended Commissioner Drosky's Town Hall Meeting
on Tuesday to discuss the option for changing the Commissioner and Mayor's
term limits from 2 - 4 year terms = 8 years to 3-4 year terms = 12 years.

 

Only 1 person in the room who lives at Century Village was in favor of this
change all others wants it to stay the same.  (Note residents voted on this
back in 2006)

 

Keep in mind it will cost US, the residents, more than $30,000 to put this
on the November ballot.

 

Please take a minute to send an email to the Mayor and Commissioners giving
them your input - or attend the Commission meeting on Tuesday, April 5th -
following is the item that is on the agenda:
