We thank you for your patience as FDOT completes these important upgrades to our roadways.<o:p></o:p></span></h3><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>I-95 Interchange from Hillsboro Boulevard to SW 10th Street<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>Traffic Impact:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>• Up to three southbound outside lanes of I-95 between Hillsboro Boulevard and SW 10th Street may be closed Sunday through Friday, with the first lane closing at 9 p.m., the second lane closing at 10 p.m. and the third lane, if needed, closing at 12:30 a.m. until 5 a.m.<br>• I-95 southbound exit ramp to SW 10th Street will be fully closed Sunday through Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured via Hillsboro Boulevard. (See attached flyer)<br>• Two westbound lanes of SW 10th Street west of I-95 will be closed intermittently Monday through Friday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for a traffic shift.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>Description: This project consists of widening southbound I-95 to add an auxiliary lane from the Hillsboro Boulevard entrance ramp to the SW 10th Street exit ramp, widening the existing southbound I-95 exit ramp to SW 10th Street, addition of a free flow right turn lane to westbound SW 10th Street, widening of westbound SW 10th Street to add an acceleration lane, utility relocation, milling and resurfacing, bridge widening, installation of barrier walls, curbs, sidewalks, guardrail, drainage, overhead signs, signing and pavement markings, signals, lighting, and retaining walls. This is the first of five interchange improvement projects throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>Cost/Completion: Construction cost for all five projects is $32.5 million. Completion in fall 2015.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>Powerline Road Improvements in Deerfield Beach<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>Traffic Impact:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>• One lane in each direction of Powerline Road from north of West Drive to the Palm Beach County line will be closed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.<br>• One lane in each direction of Powerline Road from north of West Drive to the Palm Beach County line will be closed overnight Sunday through Friday between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>Description: Project improvements include widening Powerline Road from north of West Drive to the Broward / Palm Beach County Line to accommodate bike lanes and shoulders from north of West Drive to the Broward / Palm Beach County Line, removing old asphalt and resurfacing the roadway, upgrading curbs and ramps to meet ADA standards, installing new pavement markings, installing new street signs, installing pedestrian countdown timers, improving lighting on the west side of Powerline Road just north of Hillsboro Boulevard.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>Cost/Completion: $3,035,505. Completion in summer 2015.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>A1A Bridge Rehabilitation Project over the Hillsboro Inlet in Hillsboro Beach<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>Traffic Impact:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>• North Riverside Drive underneath the bridge is closed for the duration of construction.<br>• The bridge is closed overnight to navigation between 7:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. for the duration of the project. Mariners may request an opening during this time by providing a four-hour advance notice to the bridge tender or by calling (954) 943-1847.<br>• The vertical clearance of the bridge will be reduced by 2 feet for the duration of the project.<br>• The north and south side channels will be closed to navigation for the duration of the project because of on-going work in the channels. <br>• The bridge will be closed continuously to all vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians from Wednesday, June 17 to Friday, July 3.
