<p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A Deerfield Beach resident for 26 years, she was active in city politics and was a member of many committees, working closely with members of the city government. </span></p>

<p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">She was an owner and operator of Avion Metal Works, a highly regarded ornamental iron company in South Florida.</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prior to moving to South Florida, she was an acclaimed educator in the New Jersey school system, being listed in the Who's Who of American Educators.</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Joan also founded and created the first corporate video training company in New York City.</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">She leaves behind an amazingly proud and loving family. </span></p>

<p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Visitation will be at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home at 1100 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton from 2:00- 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 13th. </span></p>

<p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><b>Church service will be held at St Ambrose Catholic Church located at 380 S Federal Hwy Deerfield Beach, FL  33441</b></span></p>

<p style="margin: 0px; font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: Helvetica;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><b>at 9:30 AM on Monday, August 14th.</b></span></p>
