Description:

Its a crafty day at the Historic Butler House, home of the Deerfield Beach
Historical Society, on Sunday, November 30, from 1pm to 5pm, and you are
invited to join us! The event i s part of the monthly Sundays at the Butler
House, a series of events scheduled for the last Sunday of each month
sponsored by Frank Congemi. Butler House is located at 380 East Hillsboro
Blvd, Deerfield Beach. The event, which takes place in the Butler House
Backyard under the shade of the age-old Banyan Tree, will allow you to be a
seller or a buyer as part of a holiday crafts show and sale. 

A special feature of the event will be a handmade quilt display provided by
Threads, the prayer shawl ministry of First Baptist Church of Deerfield
Beach. All visitors will have an opportunity to bid during a live and silent
auction on four quilts, each professionally designed, sewn and quilted. The
quilts range from traditional to contemporary, from throw to queen size,
with proceeds benefitting the ministry. Its a unique opportunity to bid on
one of these gorgeous quilts and enjoy a special piece of art for your home
or a gift for family or friends. The quilts will be on display for public
viewing during Saturdays Open House at the Butler House and on Monday,
November 24, 10am to 2pm.

A free concert featuring the island music of DYMiN will take place
throughout the afternoon. There will also be a drawing for a gift basket,
donated by Aurora Nurses Home Health Care. Entrance to the event is free,
with optional purchases for food, gifts, and other mementos. Parking is
available at the DFB Post Office, with limited parking adjacent to the
Butler House. Any crafter interested in being a seller may call (561)
