> DEERFIELD BEACH, FL - The City of Deerfield Beach would like to update residents on the curbside residential recycling program that remains temporarily suspended. Please put as much material as possible in the brown garbage cart and only use the blue recycling cart if necessary. To reduce the overflow of garbage, the City’s Solid Waste Division will continue to collect the materials from the blue recycling bins until further notice. Please note: all materials in both bins will be collected as garbage.

> City staff has and will continue to do everything possible to establish a contractual arrangement with a recyclables processor who will be fair to residents, with respect to pricing structures. Furthermore, this is an opportunity to develop a recycling program that is truly sustainable and beneficial to Deerfield Beach.
>
>
>
> Residents should continue to monitor the City’s website and social media for regular updates. The City appreciates the residents’ cooperation and patience during this temporary suspension period.
